By the way. To all my computer techies. My computer keeps freezing up. While it's idling. Three seconds into all programs I've installed from CD's (not music though). It might be the way the memory is installed. It might be a lot of things. However I'm not a computer nut (don't tell my company that). Any ideas? A quick fix would be simply mah-velous.
Two days ago I nearly made some new year's resolutions. But I fought the urge. It's a damn good thing too. My second day back at work and it was brutal. Now I remember why they pay me.
Keeping your instant messenger open is a dangerous thing. Especially if someone you don't know is IM'ing you and starts up the conversation saying "I'm tired and kind of confused." It must be secret cult I have yet to learn about. This is the second time I have found out way too much about some random man's sex life from across the country. Why is this?! Most of my friends are men and I have to drag the dirt out of them every time. And I'm not asking for details. Just the vague picture will work. But I guess you set a dazzled man lost in the surreality of last night's episode and I guess he just has to ping the random stranger and use the most explicit language to make sure I get the most graphic picture and have no doubts as to what happened to them. And let me tell you. The picture is not pretty! I have some wild ass stories myself. But I have yet to just tell a random stranger about the crazy time...... Anyhow, you get the picture. So to all my my male friends. You are welcome to share your stories with me. BECAUSE I KNOW YOU. However, you are a sick bastard if you feel the need to share it with someone who just happens to be on-line at the same time. Now excuse me while I fall off my soap box.
The sky is falling! There are ants in my pants! And bugs in my brain.
In other words....it's the first day back to work and I have a five day project due first thing tomorrow morning. It's beautiful outside but I won't be getting out due to the work situation. And I want a certain someone to call me. I don't think he will. If he's smart, he won't. This is why I'm still single and considered crazy by most.
Now, I just need a brandy to calm down and a coffee to stay up all night and get this work done.
