My child loves animals.
Most children love animals.
My child is special.
He lets dogs lick him.
Continually.
In the face.

Today he went to a petting zoo.
There were no dogs.
Only goats.
So he got goat kisses.
He sat down with one and fed it wheat he stole from the pig pen.
Piece by piece.
He held the goats chin and rubbed its cheeks.
He didn't mind that the goat tried to eat his hair.
When he grows up he wants to be a goat trainer.

 
I'm off to go enroll the boy's in school - again. Yes, we seem to do this every year and I should really stop moving - but that's the situation.
Why is that -
- the school district is NEVER available?
- so you always get an answering machine telling you they should be open at the moment you're calling?
- or you get a seceratary that transfers you to an answering maching?
- you always go to the wrong school the first time?
- and the person at the front desk hates you for walking in the door?
- they always want something that is not published on their website that lists the requirements?
- you need an appointment at the right school?
- so you have to go back?
- they are never open during non-work hours?
- you end up having to spend 3 hours doing something totally stupid - like filing a change of address form at the DMV in order to get a card you fill out in a pen - and give to the school.
- then they ask for a raise?

 
What was your favorite cartoon?
Right now they are bringing back the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which were big when I was in middle/high school. My kids love renting the old "Transformers" episodes. I have to admit that I loved "The Thundercats", and "Scooby Doo", and yes - "He-Man". However, my favorite was "The Justice League". What was yours?

 
My best friend tells me there is this dam you can get. It works like a diaghram but it just blocks end of the month leakage. Since he's a guy that was about all he could tell me. Anybody know what he's talking about?

So I have no phone and no DSL and I've actually had to work at work lately. Cable internet is being installed on Wednessday so it will be all good at that point.
I kind of enjoy not having tv or internet, but I'd like to be able to work at home too. Tough choices.
And yes......lunch counts as a date.
So does breakfast.
