It starts with the amazing dress you get for a killer $15.
Then you need a wrap. Your mom's a seamstress so $30 for material and an hours worth of driving, and your set.
Then the shoes. On sale for $30.
The jewelry. Another $30.
$100 for one night not including a babysitter or drinks.
And people wonder why I don't go out.
Hints for Calling That Number If you call her at work - don't expect her to gush a hello. She doesn't know who's calling until you tell her. You don't know what she does for a living. You don't know who's at her desk, and you don't know who's on the other line.
Don't sound timid. She gave you her number. If you think she's going to bite, don't call.
Don't confuse brevity with coldness.
Don't expect her to gush because she has children. Especially if you're 8 years older than her. Apparently there's a reason your single too.
Is there anything cuter than kids in pajamas????
How about kids in pajamas that snuggle in your lap as THEY read bedtime stories?
And here's the kicker.....
How about kids who turn on classical music as they go to bed?
I think I got super lucky in the cute and astoundingly beautiful children department.
What a fabulous day! I woke up at a leisurely time and rode my bike out to Venice Beach, had breakfast, and rode back. Then I walked down the street and had a pedicure. Walked down to the mall and read a book at the coffee shop and then went to the airport to pick up the boys. They are absolutely beatiful and full of great stories of "Troy", the new dog at dad's.
There are different kinds of friends. Friends who it may seem like we may not share much of a connection, but always seem inspire the other to improve. Friends I enjoy hanging out with. Friends who make me smile.
