Quiet Weekend #2
I spoke to the boy's this morning.  The TV was off so we had a much better conversation.  Brylan has a cavity and is going to have it filled.  Poor guy!  They're enjoying the monsoon season.  I miss the rain.  It's such an awesome experience.
I'm watching this stupid movie 29 Palms.  Have you ever just missed your friend.  You know - you guys plan to meet up when you go out at night and you're at three different bars at three different times and you never see each other.  These 4 guys are in the middle of the desert with no means of communication and they no clue as to the other's plans and they can't get away from each other.  Go figure.

TOTALLY HORMONAL
I'm mad because none of my so-called friends have called me back.
Neither has my boyfriend. He's afraid of roaming charges. Even though he insisted on talking to me a half an hour every day I was in Hawaii. Twice a day.
His e-mails are four words long.
My oldest son is too cool to talk to me.
My youngest won't say "I love you."
I haven't had anything challenging at work in 3 days now.
I'm lonely and I wish I had someone to talk to but I'm so angry I'm afraid I'll only spew garbage if I did.

Quiet weekend.
I took the man to the airport at 4:30 AM yesterday. After a nap and a couple of lattes I took myself to the beach and read half a novel. I'm a little crisp around the edges, but I'll be fine by tomorrow.
I spoke to the boys. They went fishing yesterday. Apparently Brylan was very distressed that they were killing living animals initially. Then dad cut off their heads and they kept trying to breathe and it was "cool". My wierdo child.
I went to see the Notebook. I had read the book, and while the two didn't match on every point, they were both very good. Actually, they have two completely different endings, and I don't know which one I like better.
