SIMPLICITY Last year Santa provided 2 days in the snow, snowboarding lessons and rentals. Christmas shopping done. No wrapping. No malls. Perfect.
Even better was the squeal of "Just what I wanted!" Although I know the letter for Santa had contained a long list of video games. Santa totally scored.
This year Christmas came early since they'll be at their dad's, and once again I got off easy. Cash. Even better, the cash went towards a day of snowboarding. This trip went really smoothly. Brylan went down a green 4 times, while Gregg did 2 but many many bunny slopes. Amazingly enough Greggory was taking the harder falls. Or at least he complained about it more. Brylan has the bump on his head. They both said they had a great time and were asleep in the backseat after 20 minutes. It was a blissfully quiet ride home. Their mommy is so proud - and so excited. This is the best phase of motherhood yet!
